In his Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri explains why the Latin poet Virgil was not allowed to enter Heaven. Virgil himself says: \u201cBecause I was rebellious against God\u2019s law<\/em>\u201d (as he was born before the Christian era).<\/p>\n

With this wine, we wanted to be \u201crebellious<\/em>\u201d as well \u2014 challenging the common belief that Tuscany cannot produce great white wines.<\/p>\n
